Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning reiterated China's position on a political settlement of the Ukraine at a press briefing in Beijing on Monday. In responding to a question about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's appearance at the Group of Seven (G7) Summit in Japan, Mao said China hopes G7-related countries can play a constructive role in pushing for the settlement of the crisis.
