Russia has strongly criticized the G7 summit in Japan, saying the group has "degraded irreversibly." In a statement on Sunday, the Russian foreign ministry referred to the G7 as "an incubator for destructive initiatives" that shakes global stability. It accused the G7 of politicizing multilateral formats and attempting to present themselves as advocates of law and justice in international affairs.
