China resolutely opposes Japan's semiconductor export restrictions

China resolutely opposes Japan's export restrictions on 23 types of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, which is an abuse of export control measures, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday.
Such measures have gravely deviated from free trade and international trade rules, the spokesperson said.
China urges the Japanese side to rectify wrongdoings and safeguard global semiconductor supply chain stability.
