Inland water-saving ship lock to be built on Pinglu Canal

The Pinglu Canal, one of the major projects of China's new western land-sea corridor that is currently under construction in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, will feature the world's largest inland water-saving ship lock.

The ship lock is being built at Madao Junction. Its main body covers 185,000 square meters, with a total casting volume of 3.5 million cubic meters.
