Typhoon Mawar is passing over Guam as a powerful Category-4 storm with strong winds and heavy rains, the Associated Press reported on Wednesday.
A flash flood warning has also been issued in Guam, according to the local weather agency.
U.S. President Joe Biden has declared an emergency situation in the territory of Guam due to the conditions resulting from the typhoon, paving the way for federal aid.
