African leaders on China-Africa cooperation

High-level exchanges between China and African nations have been taking place since November 2022. African leaders have spoken about cooperation with China. President Samia Suluhu Hassan said Tanzania sees China as its real and most important friend, adding that the country is willing to be China's trustworthy partner for the long term. Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki said African countries still face hegemonism and unfair treatment, but the international community believes China will make greater contributions to human development and international fairness.
