The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday voted 218-203 to pass a bill that would repeal President Joe Biden's plan for mass student debt relief.
Biden announced last year the plan that will cancel up to $20,000 for federal student loan borrowers who received a Pell Grant, a form of federal financial aid issued to lower-income students that does not have to be repaid, and up to $10,000 for those who did not receive a Pell Grant.
