At least three people were confirmed dead, including two police officers, following reports of a man possessing a hunting rifle in Nagano Prefecture, central Japan, on Thursday, local broadcaster Fuji News Network (FNN) reported.
According to reports, a gunshot-like sound was heard near the scene, and the police are proceeding with confirmation.
