Russia's Federal Security Service prevented an attack planned by the special services of Ukraine on the Leningrad and Kalinin nuclear power plants, RIA news agency reported on Thursday.

Two Ukrainians were detained after Ukrainian "saboteurs" attempted to undermine more than 30 power lines of the plants on the eve of the 78th Victory Day, the report added.

There has been no response from Ukraine yet.
