A young South African singer is carving out a Chinese pop career. Eli Zaelo, who played Nala in a production of "The Lion King" at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2015, has written and released singles in Mandarin. When Zaelo began to learn the language, it was just for conversation. Little did she know that Mandarin would open up her life to new avenues. CGTN's Julie Scheier met with the artist.
