Airplane door opened mid-air on flight in South Korea

A passenger opened an emergency exit door of an Asiana Airlines plane during a flight in South Korea on Friday, causing air to gust inside the cabin before the plane landed. The plane carrying 194 people was heading to the southeastern city of Daegu from the southern island of Jeju. The incident occurred as it was nearing its destination at an altitude of over 200 meters. The plane landed safely and the unidentified person was detained by airport police. Twelve passengers suffered breathing difficulties and some were taken to hospital.
