China's first large passenger jet, the C919, is making ts commercial debut on May 28. The single-aisle, twin-engine aircraft has 164 seats and is divided into business and economy class. It has a range of up to 5,555 kilometers. The first plane was delivered to China Eastern Airlines last year for 100 hours of test flights to verify safety.
