Rescuers in east China's Anhui Province are working to evacuate stranded residents as floods swamped a number of villages on Saturday. Floods, triggered by heavy rains, have devastated several buildings and roads in the cities of Tongcheng and Chizhou. The rescue department in Tongcheng City has evacuated nearly 76 stranded individuals who were trapped by the heavy rain. Meanwhile, an industrial park in Meilong Street, Chizhou City, has experienced waterlogging in certain areas due to poor drainage systems. The management department of the industrial park organized personnel for emergency drainage.
