After Sunday's final round of fixtures, Leicester City and Leeds United were relegated from the Premier League as Everton survived.

Leicester City were relegated even though they defeated West Ham United 2-1 on Sunday.

Leeds United will return to the championship after three seasons in the Premier League as their relegation was confirmed by a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham.

Also on Sunday, Everton prolonged their 69-year stay in the English top flight by beating Bournemouth 1-0, while Liverpool had a 4-4 draw away to already-relegated Southampton.

The top four teams in the Premier League qualify for the Champions League, while the fifth and sixth teams head to the Europa League. The 7th-place team has earned a Conference League qualification berth.
