Inspired by a Sichuan folk song depicting a pagoda tree on top of a high mountain, American composer Niccolo Athens arranged a string quartet performance for CGTN The Stage. The MILA quartet's fantastic rendition of the ancient Chinese tune vibes well with Western musical instruments, creating a dialogue across time and cultures.
