Rescue operations were underway on the evening of May 28 after part of an apartment building collapsed in Iowa, the U.S.

Authorities have not said whether anyone was killed, but people were being treated for injuries at the scene. Fire crews rescued seven people and escorted more than a dozen others from the building in their initial response, said the local fire chief.
