Originally from the Philippines, Dickenson Sy is majoring in economics and finance at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Since he was a child, he has been deeply interested in Chinese food, movies and traditional culture. His favorite TV drama is "Journey to the West." The exquisite setting of the story impressed him a lot. In the summer of 2017, he participated in an educational tour in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province, making him more determined to study in China.
