The third meeting of the Expanded Mechanism on the Sudan Crisis was held at the African Union(AU) headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Wednesday to discuss the next steps regarding the situation in Sudan, including the concrete implementation of the AU roadmap to resolve the conflict in Sudan.

The Sudanese army delegation suspended on Wednesday its participation in ongoing negotiations with the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) as two sides accused each other of violating a temporary truce.
