The county of Pujiang in eastern China's Zhejiang Province is known as the crystal capital of China, but the development of the industry once had dire environmental consequences, from poor sanitation to polluted waterways. Since the Green Rural Revival Program was introduced in 2003, things have taken a turn for the better and today the countryside in Pujiang has a new look.
