Eight-hundred green sea turtles have been released in Huidong Harbor Sea Turtle National Nature Reserve in south China's Guangdong Province, a record number of captive-bred sea turtles released in the country. Some of the turtles have been equipped with tracking devices to provide a scientific basis for future research and conservation work.
