China's women's national volleyball team secured two consecutive wins after sweeping Team Germany 25-19, 25-20, 25-22 at the ongoing FIVB Volleyball Nations League in Nagoya, Japan on Friday.
Team China were more effective in attack compared with their German peers as main spiker Li Yingying was the highest scorer in the team with 14 points, team captain and middle blocker Yuan Xinyue, Wang Yuanyuan scored 11 points respectively, and Gong Xiangyu and Wang Yunlu each took nine points.
Yuan said, "The victory is a validation of our efforts. We will study our next opponent and hope we can do better."
Meanwhile, main coach Cai Bin is satisfied with the team so far. "No matter who our rival is, we will try to do our best."

In the opener on Wednesday, China made a hard-fought win against the group's most formidable opponent Team Brazil in a five-set thriller 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 20-25, 15-12.
Brazil were the runners-up in the last edition, while China ranked sixth.
China will take on the Netherlands on Saturday and Japan on Sunday.

After the Nagoya leg, Chinese players will travel to Hong Kong, China to play against Canada, Bulgaria, Poland and defending champions Italy, before moving to South Korea's Suwon for games against Serbia, Dominica, South Korea and the United States.
These teams will fight for eight berths at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League Finals which will take place in Texas, U.S. from July 12 to 16.
