With the ratification by the Philippines on Friday of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, the RCEP now becomes the world's biggest free trade deal in effect. The RCEP is a trade agreement between states of the Asia-Pacific region. The RCEP includes 15 member countries with the Philippines as the last country to ratify the deal.
Professor Liu Baocheng, dean of the Center for International Business Ethics at the University of International Business and Economics, says the RCEP will have a great impact on regional economic integration.
