Outlook on this weekend's OPEC+ meeting
02:14

This weekend's OPEC+ meeting has attracted particular interest from the market. Chinese analyst Tu Jianjun points out there are cutting incentives from Saudi Arabia while Russia and Iraq are more willing to maintain the status quo. Professor Anis Bajretarevich, based in Vienna, pointed out that as the Western financial market is fighting to de-dollarize and de-oilization, these factors will also have an impact on OPEC+ decisions. Environmental Sciences professor Mohammad Irfan Khan remarked that although cutting oil production would have a positive impact on the environment, he believes that oil production may not change to support economic activities.
