Coconut milk curry beef brisket is a culturally-fused Nanyang – or Southest Asia – dish from Hainan's Wanning City, where many returned overseas Chinese live. They extracted thick coconut milk to balance the spiciness and strong flavor of traditional Indonesian curry to give the dish a sweet taste that accentuates the freshness of the beef brisket.
