The China-Laos Railway plays an important role in boosting trade between China and Southeast Asia. Official data shows that more than 23,000 tonnes of tropical fruit, produced by countries like Thailand, have been imported to China via the railway as of early June. More is expected to hit the Chinese market in the months to come.
