He quoted the lyrics of a well-known Chinese song to reiterate China's position on the Taiwan question, South China Sea issue and China-U.S. relations when he delivered a speech at the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. He said that the lyrics illustrate that the Chinese people are friendly and kind, but not intimidated by strong power.
