The Sudanese armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) delegations are still present in the Saudi port city of Jeddah, according to a statement by the Saudi foreign ministry on Sunday.
Despite the suspension of talks and the expiration on June 3 of the five-day ceasefire agreement, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. as mediators continue to engage the warring factions daily, the ministry said.
Saudi Arabia and the U.S. called upon the parties to agree on a new ceasefire and ensure its effective implementation.
