At least 16 dead after drinking poisoned cider in Russia

The number of deaths in Russia's Ulyanovsk region from cider poisoning has risen to 16, and several others are still in hospitals, Governor Alexei Russkikh said Monday on Telegram.
Russian media said the cider contained lethal amounts of methanol, much more toxic than the ethanol found in regular alcoholic drinks.
