Two Ukrainian policemen have been injured as Russia shells the Kherson region, Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko told Ukrainian television on Tuesday, despite evacuation efforts being underway after a dam blast.
Russia has not commented on the shelling accusation, but Russian news agency TASS has reported that some residents of Nova Kakhovka who needed help were taken to hospital, without providing details on their conditions.
