Qingbuliang is a cool and refreshing sweet soup served as a dessert all year round in Hainan, and has won many foodies' hearts and taste buds. Due to the abundance of coconuts on this tropical island, cold coconut milk is used to make qingbuliang, along with mango, watermelon, cooked mung beans and red beans.

Although qingbuliang can be easily found across Hainan, the style from the city of Qionghai is the most well known. What makes it special is that fried ice cream is added instead of regular ice cream, which leaves a richer taste.
