Ukraine says 24 settlements flooded after dam breach: minister

Kyiv said on Tuesday that 24 settlements have been flooded after the destruction of the Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine.
"Currently, 24 Ukrainian settlements are flooded," Interior Minister Igor Klymenko was quoted as saying in a statement, adding that his ministry has already evacuated "about a thousand people."
