The Japanese government plans to release nuclear wastewater from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean in spring or summer. There has been widespread opposition from the international community as the Japanese government continues to push ahead with the plan. CGTN Stringer hit the streets of Malaysia to find out the local residents' views on this matter. Some of them expressed concerns about the impact of the discharge on fishing, agriculture and tourism. If Japan persists with this water dumping plan, nuclear contamination will spread worldwide.
