Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held phone talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
"Carrying out (a) comprehensive investigation into (the) Kakhovka dam explosion, leaving no room for doubt, is important," Erdogan was quoted as saying by Anadolu Agency.
Türkiye is determined to ensure peace between Moscow and Kyiv, Erdogan said, stressing that Ankara is ready to provide all necessary support to end the conflict, Turkish media reported.
Putin called the destruction of the dam an "environmental and humanitarian catastrophe," the Kremlin said in a press release on Wednesday.
Erdogan also discussed the dam blast issue with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
