Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, visited Wuliangsu Lake in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on June 5. During his visit to the lake, Xi called for concerted efforts to treat and protect it by pursuing the clear path ahead to bestow on the offspring a beautiful homeland of lush mountains, lucid waters, and fresh air.
