Sri Lanka needs to branch into new industries in order to overcome the country's economic turmoil, said Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. Despite the country's great geographical advantages, the prime minister admits that without the help and support of China, Sri Lanka would remain confined to traditional industries such as tea, rubber and coconut.
