It's day two of China's national college entrance exam, known as the gaokao in Chinese. This year, the exam is gaining more attention because of questions about whether better education leads to better jobs. In 2022, college candidates' top choice of majors were law, computer science and technology, medicine, artificial intelligence and programming. Wang Yan, director of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, says college candidates' career choices reflect China's national development needs.
