The Guangdong Museum is located on the north bank of the Pearl River, on the central axis of Guangzhou City's central business district. Its design was inspired by the treasure box of ancient China, which fits with its function. The museum has 160,600 pieces, making it the museum with the largest number of collected pieces, richest categories and most distinctive characteristics in southern China.
