The 25th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) opened on June 9 at Shanghai Grand Theater with a star-studded red carpet. During the 10-day visual feast, around 450 movies from home and abroad will be screened at 41 local cinemas including the Shanghai Film Art Center and Grand Cinema. This year's festival received nearly 8,800 entries from over 128 countries and regions. The winners will be announced during SIFF's Golden Goblet Awards Ceremony on June 17.
