China stands firmly against all forms of military contact between the Taiwan region and countries that have built diplomatic relations with China, said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Thursday. Wang Wenbin made the statement at a press briefing in Beijing in response to a report published by the Financial News, in which the news outlet said the U.S. and Japan will share real-time data with the Taiwan authorities from naval reconnaissance drones, citing four people familiar with the project.
