In Shenzhen, a city with China's highest population density, forests cover nearly 40 percent of the land area. The harmony between man and nature is a vital consideration in the growth of this metropolis. The hiking trail in Meilin Mountain is an effective experiment. The eco-friendly practice has since been widely adopted, with no impact on the mountain.
