Digitalization has been one of the highlights at the 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) in Shenzhen, with cultural shows at different exhibition halls dotted with the latest technologies and high-tech products.

In the Beijing exhibition hall, visitors can experience an immersive space on the central axis of Beijing, thanks to multiple technologies including naked-eye 3D technology, digital mapping, digital 3D modeling and cloud rendering.

The hall has also adopted a variety of digital means to present more than 20 interactive exhibits, showcasing the integration of culture and technology.

Human-computer interaction algorithm has been utilized for visitors to experience the landscape and features of the central axis as well as the buildings along it, Yang Likun, an exhibitor of the hall, told China Media Group.

Liangma River, which passes through central Beijing, has been one of the capital's trendiest places where people spend their leisure time, especially in summer.

Visitors at the exhibition can put on VR glasses to view the scenic area and enjoy the scenery along the river.

A digital China exhibition area has been set up for the first time at the fair, displaying the latest technological innovations in the cultural industries.

CGTN reporter interacted with a "digital human," which is actually a dynamic functional connectivity system that can capture the reflection of body gestures and the props in visitors' hands, and then make the same gestures.

"We can see that extended-reality virtual shooting technology is a set of LED display background, lighting, and photography. The biggest difference is that the photographer can see the final effect in real time," Tang Hao from the Marketing Department at Shenzhen Absen Optoelectronic explained to CGTN.

Besides offline venues, the ICIF also features a cloud fair with strengthened functions.

It has used panoramic shooting technology for virtual exhibitions on the cloud platform and upgraded online platforms for registration and exchanges among cultural enterprises, investors and customers.
