China Movie & TV Night, a special gala of the ongoing Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), inaugurated on Saturday the CMG Convergence Media Cinema in Shanghai, the first theater in the country able to broadcast 4K ultra-high-definition television program signals. The cinema has nine multi-functional digital cinemas, which can accommodate more than 1,400 people at the same time.
