China Movie & TV Night, a special gala at the ongoing 25th Shanghai International Film Festival, was held on Saturday evening at the China Media Group Convergence Media Cinema in Shanghai. Hosted by the Shanghai Bureau of CMG, this year's event has launched "CMG Recommendation of the Year," to promote the cream of the crop in terms of high-quality domestic film and TV productions. The science fiction film "Wandering Earth 2" was the biggest winner, which was listed as the "Recommended Film of the Year," while also being recognized for "International Communication" and "Technological Innovation". "A Lifelong Journey," which tells of a Chinese family saga across five decades, was the "TV Series of the Year."
