A special birthday party was held on Saturday in southwest China's Chongqing Zoo to celebrate the second birthday of Xing Xing and Chen Chen, a pair of celebrity twin pandas.
Xing Xing and Chen Chen were born to their mother Mangzai in 2021. Their names were chosen by the public in online polls, which mean stars (Xing) and celestial bodies (Chen), derived from a popular phrase "our journey is the sea of stars" as a tribute to members of China's space sector.
