Japan's Tokyo Electric Power Company is launching a test run of its land discharge facilities as the country proceeds with its plans to release contaminated water from Fukushima into the ocean on June 12. But this has been met by skepticism and opposition from Fukushima residents and neighboring countries. Shen Yiyang, director of the Inclusive Development Research Center, says Japan's current research data on potential contamination is not trustworthy.
