Whiteleg shrimps from Honduras have been officially approved to be imported to markets in China starting from June 12th, 2023.
The Chinese General Administration of Customs (GAC) announced that China and Honduras have signed a protocol on inspection, quarantine, and other requirements for aquatic products exported from Honduras to China.
The GAC said that it has also approved the registration of nine Honduras aquaculture firms in China, which allows the firms to carry out the trade of whiteleg shrimp.
