Mount Mayon in the Philippines continued to spew lava from its crater down its slopes on Monday. More than 14,000 people had been evacuated, authorities said. About 330 kilometers southeast of the capital Manila, Mayon is considered one of the most volatile of the country's 24 active volcanoes.
