China and the United States should strive to promote steady development of bilateral economic and trade relations and inject more stability and positive energy into the world economy.
Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting made the remarks in response to a question about U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen who said it is in the United States' best interest to maintain ties with China.
