Indian director and actress Nandita Das is one of the jurors for the 25th SIFF Golden Goblet Awards. She has acted in more than 40 films and has been directing since 2018. The Vibe reporter Shen Li sat down with her to talk about her latest film, her advice for young filmmakers, and share her insights into the Asian film industry. Nandita Das believes that cultural exchanges are important bridges that connect people from different places. She says that culture is about human cooperation, partnership and friendship – and cinema is a good way of promoting these values.
