With the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival now in full swing, the winners of the Golden Goblet Awards are due to be announced by the end of the weekend. Let's take a look back at some previous Golden Goblet Awards winners.
"Pauwi Na" is a drama film directed by Filipino director Paul Verarana, starring Bembol Roco. The film tells the story of a poor family, consisting of five members, struggling to make a living in the once-dreamed of big city. Eventually, due to financial difficulties, they are forced to return to their hometown by pedicab.
The movie is inspired by a true story of a Filipino family that travelled by pedicab to return home to Leyte. It won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Feature Film at the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival in 2017.
